WHEN the council elections were going on, we were not told that our green fields were to be built on, so that we can import people from all over the country to live here.

We should have a referendum, asking how many more houses should be built, as the roads and infrastructure are already overloaded.

At Creech St Michael, we have had more than our fair share of building, with the developers having the usual consultation meetings, then being allowed to build where they like, closing roads and not including starter homes.

No wonder villagers are very angry.

Taunton Deane Borough Council should start listening to its constituents.
