I WOULD like to support the traffic wardens for doing their jobs.
The poor parking in Wiveliscombe is disgraceful.
Where have the days gone when local residents walk into the town to do their shopping or drop/pick up from school?
The community has got a bit lazy.

The parking in West Street and the square day and night is horrendous; People parking wherever they feel like it - on double yellow lines, across people’s driveways, blocking sloping pavements to allow wheelchair users access on/off the pavement.
It is nice to see the traffic wardens out day and night enforcing the law.
I have up most sympathy also for the bus drivers and delivery drivers when they are delayed due to the parking issues going on.
It doesn’t matter what time of year it is - if a traffic warden feels a ticket should be issued then pay the consequences.
