About this neighbourhood
Taunton Halcon beat is mainly residential but has commercial premises. It has only one school, which is Halcon Primary School. The main commercial premises are - Asda, Audi, Mercedes, Hydrographic Office, Holiday Inn, Merco petrol station and half of Blackbrook pavilion park. The Police and Council have a joint office above the Link Centre on Roman Road. The area has two Local Action Teams and one Residents' and Tenants' group. The Police work alongside a lot of multi-agencies.
