INVENTOR Peter Brown, of Cheddon Fitzpaine, was certain he hadn't boobed with his latest creation - a water-filled bra - although he can't make people take him seriously.
Speaking in the week of February 7, 1992, he said he had the idea ten years before, but not until the health scare over silicone implants did he decide to take it further.
He built a prototype of the bra, which he said can guarantee any woman the figure she desires and said he is certain the invention will prove to be more than a storm in a D-cup.
He said: "It feels more natural than fibre-padded bras and is entirely safe, unlike silicone implants. But it can also be used for an enlargement, so also has a cosmetic use."
The bra was made of two overlapping pieces of material to make an eyelid into which a freezing water bag is inserted.
