WELLINGTON Football Club celebrated their best-ever season with their annual dinner and presentations last Friday.
Playing award winners are: Ian Warren (third team players' player); Dan Woodgate (third team top scorer and joint most improved); Nick Woon (first team top scorer); Craig Aspin (reserves manager's player); Simon Ingram (first team supporters' player and players' player) Jason Hawkings (third team manager's player), John Norman (reserves leading scorer). Front, Ryan Lewis (best young player), Jack Adams (joint most improved); Greg Jackson (reserves players' player). Secretary Ken Pearson was named clubperso of the year.
MINEHEAD FC held their end of season presentation evening last Saturday night. Awards went to: Sam Hutchings (supporters player of the year), Luke Taylor (top scorer and manager's player), Simon Lyons (players' player) and Aaron Deekes, who won an award for the most man of the match awards. Jill Ackland and Susan Arnold were both named clubperson of the year for their work behind the scenes.
