Yeovil Town's rivals Leeds United book their Wembley place

9:52am Friday 16th May 2008

ONE of the finalists in this season's Coca-Cola League One play-off final at Wembley on May 25 are now known.

Leeds United, who booked their spot in the play-offs with victory at Yeovil Town on April 25, overturned a 2-1 first leg deficit to win 3-2 on aggregate over Carlisle United at Brunton Park last night.

Midfielder Jonny Howson brought the scores level on aggregate with a tenth minute strike and then netted the winner with an excellent last-minute goal.

Leeds will now face at Wembley either Doncaster Rovers and Southend United who meet in the other semi-final second leg tonight at the Keepmoat Stadium. The score in that one is currently 0-0 following last Friday's stalemate at Roots Hall.

As for Carlisle United, they will be plying their trade in League One again next season and that means another long, long haul for Yeovil Town fans!
