Help with family history

PEOPLE in Taunton, Wellington and West Somerset are being invited to drop into family history sessions being held in Somerset's libraries.

The main purpose of these sessions is to give free advice on family history research.

Anyone planning to attend is advised to bring dates/information relating to their family.

There are also regular events run by volunteers from the Somerset and Dorset Family History Society, including one at Taunton Library on Fridays from 2-5pm every Friday.

Other advice sessions in the area include one at Minehead Library on Friday, May 23, from 11am-1pm.
