Wellington daredevil takes dive with sister in memory of mum

A BROTHER and sister who plunged 17,000ft from a plane at Dunkeswell in memory of their mum have raised over £800.

Dean and Leanne Edwards, of Wellington and Watchet respectively, completed a skydive last month in aid of the County Gazette-backed Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment appeal.

Funds help to equip the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital.

Leanne said: “We both enjoyed it, and we’re so proud of ourselves as it was scary, but amazing.

“We’d to thank everyone who donated.”
