MOTORISTS on the M5 northbound in Somerset have faced delays following a series of collisions today (November 2).

Three cars were involved in an incident between junctions 22 and 21 north of Burnham at 11.30am in which one person suffered minor injuries.

Just half an hour later a car and a motorbike were in collision around junction 23 near Bridgwater. One man was taken to hospital with injuries, but theu are not thought to be serious.

At 12.15pm there was a two-car collision between junctions 25 and 24 – Taunton and Bridgwater – but no injuries were reported.
