TWO crashes have happened in the space of 15 minutes on the same stretch of road, possibly due to a muddy surface.
One car skidded near the Greyhound Inn, Staple Fitzpaine, at around 8.15 this morning (November 16) but the driver escaped uninjured.
And at 8.30am, two cars were involved in a crash at the same location. Injuries were sustained but police said they are not life threatening.
Police also confirmed mud may have been a factor and New Road is closed in both directions.
