TAUNTON Deane Mayor Terry Hall dropped in to help judge a cake-making competition at a care home in Taunton.

Cllr Hall dropped into Malthouse Court in Bishop’s Hull to examine the tasty treats made by tenants at Anchor care homes across the South-West.

Competition organiser Richard Herne said: “The competition was a fun opportunity for our customers to use their creative skills.

“Encouraging older people to eat a wholesome and seasonal diet helps them lead healthy lives, but we all enjoy a special treat at Christmas.”
