A GROUP of artistic musicians from Wellington School have performed in aid of children's charity Brainwave.
The concert featured a wide range of ages and stages, from Year 7 to Upper Sixth and a very varied palette of instrumental colour and musical styles.
Among the performers were two of our Year 9s, both recent winners at the Taunton Festival - saxophonist Nazariy Aleksandryants, who won the junior class of Taunton Young Musician, and singer Jessica Handley, who gained four distinctions at the festival.
Paul Smith, Brainwave's South-West community manager, said: “When you witness highly talented young musicians performing it is certainly very inspiring.
"When they are doing it to help raise funds for other young people who have a wide range of disabilities it is humbling too.”
