Raid on jewellers in early hours - update
POLICE have isued the following statement: "We received a call to a jeweller in Fore Street, Wellington this morning (December 13) following reports of a burglary.
"Unknown offenders have forced entry and made off with goods to the value of thousands of pounds.
"Investigations are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information about it."
Reports are coming in of a raid on a jewllers shop in Wellington town centre in the early hours of this morning. Police are said to be on the scene of the incident. More details to follow.
