Serious crash on Wellington Road in Taunton

Crash on Wellington Road. Crash on Wellington Road.

Emergency services have been dealing with a serious accident on Wellington Road in Taunton this evening.

The collision involving more than one vehicle happened near the turning for Musgrove Park Hospital. 

The County Gazette understands a woman was cut out of a car and taken to hospital.

The road is believed to have reopened.

Looks like yet another example of someone trying to get somewhere a few seconds quicker by jumping the lights.

What is wrong with people round here, slow down.
