ROSEBANK Road is now a No Cold Calling Zone, and police are finding out if any other areas should be the same.

The County Gazette reported earlier this year that a consultation was taking place with around 30 home owners and letters were being pushed through doors.

This week, PCSO Louise Fyne said the street is now a No Cold Calling Zone to prevent distraction burglaries, bogus callers and uninvited sales people.

There is a chance that the whole village could become a No Cold Calling Zone.
