Taunton's nightlife past and present - can you help? Taunton's nightlife past and present - can you help?

THE closure of Bliss nightclub was the latest blow to Taunton’s nightlife, so the County Gazette took to the streets to find out what you think of the town’s partying culture.

Over the years a number of latenight venues have come and gone including Rockers Live, Aura, Night Owls, The Ivory Club, Yates, The Toad at The Warehouse and Kingstons, to name a few.

We want to know what is your favourite venue in Taunton, past or present?

When I used to go out we always used to start in Sturms, then go to Market House & finish the night in either Toad or Yates. It was always a good night out & you never saw any trouble.
I dont bother going out now, its too expensive, the places are rubbish & there are always fights!

My happiest memories were of Kingstons nightclub, having worked there for 10 years up untill it closed.I was devestated when they shut it down,they were the best 10 years of my life,
