STAFF at the Holiday Inn Taunton took part in an unusual world record attempt today (January 31)... by stuffing as many pillows into their cases as possible in one minute.

The hotel workers were attempting to break the previous record of 9,953 stuffed pillows set last year.

All 65 of IHG's (the parent company of the Holiday Inn) UK and Ireland estate hotels took part in the simulatenous event at 2pm.

General manager at the Taunton Holiday Inn Chris Freer said: "The team is really proud to be a part of IHG's aim to break the Guinness World Record."
