Latest SURE donations
PEOPLE got in the festive spirit in aid of the County Gazette-backed Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment charity.
SURE, which helps to equip the Beacon Centre cancer unit at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, received £600 raised at Debenhams’ Retail Christmas dinner, £290 from the sale of Christmas trees at the Tetton Estate and £205 from Jane House through Carols in the Cattleshed at Tetton Farm, Kingston St Mary.
Other donations: £38.70, Gerald Moore; £20, Mrs Lee; £20, Mr and Mrs Hoare; and £15, Jill Abercombe.
Collections of 5p coins totalled £83 from Jane House and villagers in Kingston St Mary, £23.25 from Taunton Bowling Club and £10.95 from an anonymous donor.
