A man has been charged with murder following a death at Marlborough, Kingsbridge on Saturday.
Police investigating the death of a 32-year-old from South Wales have charged 22-year-old Jermain Maguire from Penarth, South Glamorgan.
Maguire will appear before Torquay Magistrates this morning.
A police spokesman said the death happened in Higher Town, Marlborough in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The suspect was arrested at 7.30 that morning and later detained at Torquay police station, where he was interviewed and later charged.
