THE road has now been cleared and should be passable for drivers from now onwards.

ONE lane is still closed and traffic is slow on the A358 in both directions between Halsway Hill and the A39 junction in Williton because of the earlier accident.

POLICE were called at about 7.40am because of a two-car collision, which was blocking the road at Halsway Hill.
A woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
Officers are still at the scene clearing debris and awaiting the recovery of both vehicles.

DRIVERS are being urged to find alternative routes after a road traffic collision on the A358 between Williton and Taunton.
Police, fire crews and the ambulance service are at the scene near Halsway Hill and Crowcombe.
