A MAN has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a shop in Minehead

Fire crews from Minehead and Williton were called to clothes printing shop Novel T's in The Avenue shortly after 8.30am today (February 8).

They used breathing apparatus, a thermal imagine camer and a ventilation fan in the smoke-logged property.

The shop has been severely damaged by heat and smoke.

Passerby Gary Miele said: "I was just walking the dog and couldn't believe it when I saw it. The fire was out when I passed at about 10.15am and I couldn't see much because of the tape but it certainly looks like there is some damage."
