A MAN had to be cut free after he became trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic accident.

Firefighters were called to the crash between a car and a minibus at 9pm yesterday (February 10) in Brendon Road, Watchet.

Initial reports suggested two people were trapped.

But crews discovered just one man in one of the vehicles, while the occupant of the other vehicle had left the scene.

The victim was cut free and left in the care of paramedics. Police also attended.
