Amazing show of greed. The staff get enough abuse from it's sober customers let alone them having to deal with drunks as well.

Greed? People want to buy the product, the staff want to earn money, the company wants to make money. Thats how western society works, like it or not.

People want the freedom to buy what they want, when they want, people want to make a living, companies want to make money, and i don't blaime them, little to do with greed.

I do agree staff shouldn't have to put up with rude behaviour from customers, sober or drunk.....but no one seems to want to do anything about this. Police/courts dont seem to do anything to stop drunken antisocial behavior, shops/pubs dont seem to want to ban antisocial people, maybe this element is down to greed or lazyness, but not extended opening hours.

i welcome any extended opening hours......try buying anything in our town centre after 5.30 pm (other than food/drink). If buisness owners can afford to stay open longer, it makes my life more convinient, and why on earth not......why is this greedy?

Maybe I am missing some of your point here. MacDonalds serves food. All shops that sell anything else closes at 5:30pm in every town and city across the UK.

Apart from newsagents and supermarkets then weird comment to make.

You have the weekends or a day off to go shopping.
