RICHARD Huish College’s environmental group LEAF today (March 4) handed over a cheque to Somerset Wildlife Trust from the proceeds of a charity cake sale.

The group raised £96.45 by selling homemade cakes to students during break and lunchtime, in a bid to raise awareness for Somerset Wildlife Trust.

Leaf is a group of Huish students who meet up once a week to try and promote green issues at the college, such as recycling.
