Minehead Town Councillor Marcus Kravis.
A MINEHEAD town councillor is asking people to dig deep as he prepares to abseil 170ft for charity today.
Marcus Kravis, who owns The Arkade in the town, is abseiling for Rays of Sunshine, a charity which grants the wishes of children living with serious or life-threatening illnesses.
He became involved through trade association BACTA, which he is a member of, and which fundraises for the charity.
Marcus said: “Somehow I have been persuaded to take partin a charity abseil. The last time I abseiled I was ten years old and it was all of 20ft. This will be 170ft, so it will be fun, and even funny.”
Donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/Marcus-Kravis or by texting KRAV55 and the amount to 70070.
