Freezing weather and snow forecast for Somerset Freezing weather and snow forecast for Somerset

FREEZING temperatures are set to hit Somerset this weekend, bringing with them the possibility of snowfall in some parts of the county.

Forecasters predict that, following a warm Saturday with temperatures up to 11C, thermometers will plunge to -2C on Sunday with the cold snap continuing into the start of next week.

Motoring organisations are reminding drivers in the county to take care on the roads if the forecast icy conditions arrive.
