THE trial of a father and son charged with the murder of dad-of-three Paul Rettalick in Huish Episcopi near Langport last year has been delayed.

Michael McGinty, 55, Langport, and Lee McGinty, 25, both of Peony Road in Langport, deny his murder between Saturday, September 15, and Monday, September 17.

The trial started at Bristol Crown Court last Monday (March 4) and the prosecution were due to continue making their case this week but it was adjourned until tomorrow (March 13) due to the absence of a juror.

The trial continues.
