A PUB near Taunton has been crowned the South-West’s Best Cellar 2013.
The Farmers Arms, at Combe Florey, near Bishops Lydeard, beat off the challenge of numerous pubs across the region to claim the prize at this year’s BT Sport Great British Pub Awards.
The pub will go forward to the national final in London on Thursday, September 12, with five other regional winners aiming to be crowned the Great British Pub of the Year.
Owner Patricia Vincent told the County Gazette she was delighted with the award, adding that a lot a hard work had gone into retaining the title, which they have won for the past four years.
