East Reach - Chritchard Way, Taunton, traffic lights now working

- Traffic light failure at the lower end of East Reach this morning.
- Lights working and traffic back to normal.
THE traffic lights at Chritchard Way/East Reach in Taunton are now working and traffic is reported to be flowing as normal.
A SPOKESMAN for Somerset County Council said: “We are aware of the issue and contractors are on their way to look at the fault.
“Our cameras show traffic is currently flowing in the area but until the lights are fixed we would advise motorists to take extra care while approaching the junction.”
TRAFFIC is still running freely at the junction at present.

In situations like this could some Traffic Wardens or PCSO's be sent there to at least maintain order and assist with the traffic flow until it's fixed? It's OK now but will be anarchy soon as the incoming traffic builds.

Traffic is flowing freely and there are no current hold-ups.

Delays are expected this morning due to a traffic light failure at the lower end of East Reach in Taunton.
The lights are at the junction of Chritchard Way, Wordsworth Drive and Hamilton Road.
