ANOTHER neighbour told the County Gazette there were two fire engines, police and an ambulance.
FIRE Service chiefs have confirmed that the man who was seriously hurt following the fire in Langport in the early hours of this morning has died.
The County Gazette understands the man was in his 60s.
Neighbours living near to the house involved said they saw an ambulance outside the property in the early hours of this morning.

A MAN has been seriously hurt following a house fire in Langport in the early hours of this morning (Monday 14).
Fire crews were called to Eastover just after 2.45am after reports of smoke coming from a semi-detached property.
A man was brought out of the property and taken to hospital by ambulance crews while a woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
A fire service spokesman said cause of the blaze was accidental and believed to be electrical.
