TO BE or not to be, that was question for Year Ten students from West Somerset College as they performed and led drama workshops for middle school pupils.

The performance was part of the student's preparations for taking part in the Shakespeare School Festivals at the Tacchi-Morris Centre in Taunton.

160 youngsters from Danesfield, Dulverton and Minehead schools visited the college to see a performance of “A Midsummer Night's Dream”.

Afterwards, they took part in workshops which explored the magical element of the play.

Sarah Westwood, Subject Leader for Drama said: “The year ten students provided a fantastic performance and demonstrated outstanding leadership skills running the workshops.

“It was such a lovely atmosphere seeing the college and middle schools working together in such an imaginative way.”
