Fundraisers rally round to help sick Trull toddler Maddison
1:00pm Sunday 27th October 2013 in News
SEVERAL people have rallied round to raise thousands of pounds to make life easier for a sick toddler.
And some of the money has already been put to use to buy a new bed for 22-month-old Maddison Gill, who lives in Trull.
Maddison’s condition, which prevents her from crying, sucking, swallowing, gagging or coughing, has baffled medical experts.
Her parents, Gene Gill and Tamsin Whatley, need to raise money for an extension to their bungalow for her bedroom, bathroom and a sensory playroom.
So far, over £6,000 has been collected.
Maddison’s grandmother, Angie Whatley, said: “We’d like to say a massive thankyou to everyone who attended or donated to these events.”
