Musgrove Park Hospital nurse honoured for arthritis care

A SPECIALIST rheumatoid nurse at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton is one of ten nationally to receive an award.

Teresa Jewell received the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) Healthcare Champions Award from Home Secretary Theresa May in the House of Commons.

The award recognises those who go the extra mile to provide the best possible outcomes for those coping with the chronic autoimmune disease.

NRAS chief executive, Ailsa Bosworth, said: "Many congratulations to Teresa on winning this award through your passion and commitment to providing such excellent care in RA."
