ONLINE blogger Laura Bates, who chronicles instances of sexism, gave a lecture at King’s College in Taunton.
Laura spoke powerfully to Year 13 pupils about how sexual abuse occurs in more places and ways than people sometimes think, despite the fact that we may feel we have achieved gender equality.
Her website, ‘The Everyday Sexism Project,’ gives people the chance to share their experiences of sexual discrimination, prejudice and abuse in the hope that it will raise awareness of the full extent of the problem.
