YEAR 4 pupils at Dunster First School have been busy working on a Tudor-themed project as part of their history work this term.

They were given a brief to create a piece of work based on the period of Tudor England and their work could be as creative as they liked.

Year 4 teacher Paul James said the projects were ‘amazing’.

Some of the projects they made included The Globe Theatre, Tudor houses, a game of Tudor chess and two ornate dresses.

Mr James added: “The children really enjoyed working on these projects and the creations are absolutely wonderful.

“I am proud of all the children for the imagination and hard work they have put it.

“It was also lovely to hear of children making their projects with members of their families.

“It was a brilliant way to round off our Tudor topic; well done everyone.”
