HOLLYWOOD came to Somerset when megastars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis called in for a bite to eat on their way to the Glastonbury Festival.

The pair stopped off at the Smuggler's Retreat and Lauren Worth, from the restaurant, said: “It was a surprise but they just came in, picked up a menu, ordered and ate their food, and then left.”

American actor Ashton, 35, played lead roles in Dude Where's My Car and What Happens in Vegas and was once married to Demi Moore.

Mila, 29, was voted the world's sexiest woman by readers of FHM magazine and is best known as the voice of Meg Griffin on hit animation TV series Family Guy.

FIRE ripped through the Waitrose supermarket in Wellington, causing an estimated £1million damage.

Peter Radford, who lives opposite the store, said: “My wife woke me up and said Waitrose was on fire. I looked out of the window and was greeted with a dramatic sight. The fire brigade were here extremely quickly - they were terrific.

“Fortunately, the wind was blowing the other direction, away from the store, otherwise it could have spread and been much worse.”

A man was arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with the incident.

A TEENAGER from Taunton told the County Gazette of his struggle against a rare condition which prevents him from making new memories.

Ricky Dean, 19, needs constant reminders to do everyday tasks like brushing his teeth. He lost the capacity to hold memories when his brain was starved of oxygen at birth.

Ricky said: “I never used to go out before I got the phone three years ago, so then my limitations were the front door. The worst things about it are missing my appointments with friends and forgetting good things. I can't look forward to anything, like birthdays.”
