United Reformed Church in Wellington donates charity cash

MEMBERS of the United Reformed Church in Wellington have donated thousands of pounds to two charities.

Coffee mornings and a Carols by Candlelight event coined in £1,150 each for Somerset Sight and the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (SURE) appeal to equip the Beacon cancer centre at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.

Cheques were handed over to both charities at the church in Fore Street.
