BRING your pans, pots and anything that will make a loud noise along to the Dunster Community Orchard Wassail on Friday, January 17.
The evening will involve ‘The Wassail’, firing of shotguns, music, stories and refreshments.
The Wassail is a tradition used to scare away evil spirits to ensure a good harvest of fruit in the autumn.
This will be followed by a flaming torch procession around the village stopping at various points for more stories and songs.
Parking is free at Dunster Steep car park and everyone is invited to meet at the Buttercross Orchard, St Georges Street, Dunster at 7.30pm.
