A TIME capsule has been buried under what is soon to be a £1million community centre in Trull.

The centre is born out of a fundraising project by the village’s All Saints Church, with the cash raised between Easter 2012 and 2013.

It will provide a flexible space available to community and church organisations such as Trull Pre-school and All Saints Carers and Toddlers group.

The facility, next to the church, will also have office space for the church staff and host coffee mornings when it is completed in August.

The capsule, buried on Monday (January 20), contains something from the different groups that used the previous buildings, including old photographs.

Rev Adrian Youings, rector of All Saints Church, said: “It has been a wonderful example of church and community working together and we have experience an amazing modern day miracle with over £1million being raised in just one year through generous sacrificial giving of people in Trull.”
