THE boss of a children’s charity says his team was “thrilled” by the fundraising efforts of its next-door neighbours.

Staff at The Potting Shed tea room, based at Old Kelways, in Langport, raised £70 for bibic, after hosting a fair for the charity.

Geoff Cummins, bibic chief executive, said: “We’re thrilled with the money raised by the team at The Potting Shed.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and put lots of hard work and effort into the fayre.

“As a charity which receives no Government funding, every little helps, so we are extremely grateful for anything raised for us.”

Rebecca Croot, owner of The Potting Shed, said: “Being based next door to bibic’s new premises means we’re well aware of the hard work it does to help children and families, so we couldn’t think of a more worthy cause to receive the money we raised.”
