LITTLE ones at Ladybirds Pre-school in Lydeard St Lawrence are celebrating a “glowing” Ofsted report.
The school was given ‘Good’ ratings across the board after its November inspection.
Among its findings, staff were praised for providing “a stimulating range of experiences” for the children, supporting the children’s individual needs, and developing positive relationships with them.
Meanwhile the children were said to be “happy and confident” and actively involved in their learning.
Pre-school Manager Ali Morley said “I’m really pleased the hard work of our staff has been acknowledged in this report; in particular the ways we strive to ensure that each child thrives at Ladybirds, from the settling in process to the transition to school.
“We are a small, rural pre-school with a real community feel so this is very much a team effort.”
