A TEENAGER from Taunton will take on an adrenaline-fuelled challenge in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Aiysha Hansen, 18, will do a solo accelerated free fall from 15,000ft at Dunkeswell in memory of her friend’s daughter, Tayla Saunders, who died aged five.

She will have a training course the day before her jump and the skydive is more challenging because there is no instructor strapped to her – she is on her own.

Aiysha said: “Tayla suffered from cystic fibrosis, so I’m doing the jump for the Trust and the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

“I’ve put a lot of thought into my fundraising and I'm doing a skydive because Tayla was airlifted to hospital.

“I’m doing it in Devon because that was where she lived, and where possible I’ll try to incorporate the colour blue and butterflies because they were her favourite.”

Aiysha hopes to raise nearly £2,500 from the challenge and is hoping people can help her achieve that.
