NOT even the cold temperatures could stop the members of the 1st Watchet Sea Scout Group camping out last weekend.
Fourteen members undertook an overnight hike and camp, sleeping out in their lightweight tents.
It was part of their ongoing work towards their hiking and navigation badges.
They got to practise their map work, walking part of the West Somerset coastpath before pitching their tents and making themselves got drinks.
They cooked a full breakfast the next morning on their stoves before packing up and walking back to scout hq.
Anyone interested in joining the group as a member or leader should call leader Malcolm Bale on 01984-631126 or email scouts@watchetseascoutgroup.org.uk.
- THE Watchet Sea Scout Group will be washing cars to raise funds for their group this Saturday.
Car washing will take place in Swain Street Car Park between 9am-12pm.
