IF you’re the kind of person who starts counting down to next year’s Glastonbury Festival as you’re filing out of the gates caked in mud, you’ll know it’s little more than 100 days until Glasto 2014.

So to prime you for the Worthy Farm’s unrivalled mother of all festivals, from June 25-29, Wednesday to Sunday, here’s our round-up of confirmed acts, plus some of the rumours doing the rounds…

On Thursday February 27 legendary country singer DOLLY PARTON, of ‘9 to 5 and ‘I Will Always Love You’ fame, confirmed her slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival, implying she’ll grace the stage on the Sunday.

Canadian indie septet, ARCADE FIRE, who collaborated with David Bowie on their latest record, Reflektor, were the first act confirmed as headliners for the Pyramid Stage on Friday June 27. They confirmed by somewhat cryptic Twitter pic.

BLONDIE, the 1970s punk-pop band fronted by Debbie Harry, and winners of the 2014‘Godlike Genius’ NME award, told Metro last week: “We’re going to be doing Glastonbury.”

Brit singer LILY ALLEN confirmed herself among the acts in a BBC Radio 1 interview back in November.

"Dream-pop" LA girl band WAR PAINT and folk-inspired US singer SUZANNE VEGA are also to appear.

Rumours, firing up that FLEETWOOD MAC would play, were quashed by Michael Eavis – however he hopes to entice them for 2015.

While daughter Emily has extinguished rumblings that PRINCE would be making a 2014 appearance

Meanwhile, as a festival follow-up, Led Zeppelin star ROBERT PLANT and the Sensational
Space Shifters will perform in the spectacular grounds of Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza on August 9.
