A FATHER who conned a victim out of around £4,000 by dishonestly withdrawing it from their bank account has been told he faces jail.
David Danes, 24, of Otterford Caravan Site, appeared at Taunton Crown Court on Tuesday after admitting nine counts of fraud by false representation.
Harry Ahuja, who was representing Danes, told the court his client knew he had withdrawn the money for a dishonest purpose.
He then asked Judge David Ticehurst to hand his client a suspended sentence for the offences, despite having breached a previous order.
Mr Ahuja said these offences pre-date the other suspended sentence but Judge Ticehurst adjourned the case until May.
He said: “The most likely outcome is that of an immediate prison sentence.”
