CROSS Country runners from Uffculme School have been putting in some strong performances on both the county and national stage.
For the second year running, Phoebe Killen, year 10, was selected to represent both Devon county and Devon Schools.
Phoebe joined Alfie Devine-Wright ran at the UK Counties Championships in Birmingham.
Both runners finished in the middle of the packs of around 300 runners from all over the UK.
The following weekend, Phoebe, James Hughes-Woods and Finley Mclear, who was crowned Devon School's Champion in February, ran at the English Schools Championships at Castle Donnington.
Each of these races had around 340 runners.
Phoebe who was running up a year, finished in 181st, James 173rd and Fin an excellent 45th.
