CHILDREN from first schools across the area took part in a drawing competition with a theme to win tickets to a production at the Regal Theatre next week.
The pupils had to draw characters from Peter Pan, which is being staged by Dreams next weekend (April 5 and 6).
Dianne Turner, principal at Dreams, said: “The artistic entries were really imaginative and pictured the pirates, the ticking crocodile, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan.
“The lucky winners have won tickets to see the show and also VIP backstage passes.”
Dunster First School students scooped the main prizes with joint first place going to Cherry and Marley Price.
In third place was Lexie- Anne Hood.
Jodie Prescott from Knights Templar and Lucy Gerrard from Old Cleeve were runners-up.
Minehead Mayor Valerie Welch and local artist Martyn Lintern judged the competition.
