STAFF are all smiles at Brock House Day Nursery in Norton Fitzwarren, after a glowing report from Ofsted inspectors.

The nursery was given the top ‘outstanding’ rating following an inspection earlier this year.

The report said: “Children make excellent progress in all areas of learning and development” and that “staff have an excellent awareness of how young children learn”.

The report highlighted the “exceptionally varied range of activities and experiences for children, both indoors and outdoors” and the partnerships that the nursery has developed with parents.

Deana Hunt, director at Brock House, said she and the rest of the team were extremely proud of the achievement.
