YOUNGSTERS from Stawley and Sampford Arundel primary schools got a taste of politics last week.
They took a tour of the Houses of Parliament in London accompanied by Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne.
Mr Browne said: “I always enjoy showing local children around the Houses of Parliament.
“Understanding our national democratic heritage is an important aspect of education and I hope the visit will also inspire many of the children to take an interest in current affairs.
“It was also a great opportunity for them to see London including looking down on our capital city from the top of the London Eye.”
