INVESTIGATIONS into the death of a Priorswood woman following an incident in Dover Road on Tuesday evening continue today (Thursday April 3).
Police say a 33 year-old man, arrested following the death, has now been released on bail "pending further enquiries."

Pensioner Marjorie Darbyshire, who lived on Dover Road for 20 years, said: “Nothing like this has ever happened before. It’s sad.
"We’ve never had forensics on the street before."
Lee Anderson said: “It’s scary. Nothing like this has happened around here before.”
Chad Martin, landlord of the nearby Waggon pub, said: “I saw lots of ambulances and police cars going past at tea-time on Tuesday.
“The police were there all night, but the lights weren’t on.
“Nobody seems to know the people who lived in the house. They hadn’t been there long and had done a council house exchange with the people who lived there before.”
NEIGHBOUR Mandy Stone told the County Gazette: “Everyone is shocked to see something like this on our own doorstep.”
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched by Avon and Somerset Police following the sudden death of a woman in the Priorswood area of Taunton yesterday evening.
Issuing a statement about the incident this afternoon, police said:
“At around 6pm the ambulance service told us about concerns they had for a woman they were treating at a property in Dover Road.
“She was taken to hospital but did not survive and we’ve begun some enquiries to establish what happened. At this stage we are treating her death as unexplained.
“We’ve met with the woman’s family to tell them and they are currently being supported by a specially trained family liaison officer.”
The scene remains cordoned off in Dover Road as police and forensics teams continue their enquiries, which are expected to continue for a number of hours.
A 33 year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody.
